2012-2013 - Zeta Phi supports Hope For Heroes
In keeping with Kansas Epsilon Sigma Alpha president Phyllis Simmons theme, ESA-USA, local Zeta Phi members, Bonnie Templeton and Charlotte Grelk presented a quilt made by Bonnie's mother- in- law to April Blackmon and Crystal Tinkey of the Fort Riley USO. Looking on to the festive presentation were military members enjoying the facility on the organization’s 72nd birthday. The Fort Riley USO is the only facility in the state of Kansas, and provides service to the entire state. Since the USO is not a government organization, it depends on donations and volunteers to aid the assigned staff in providing services to the Kansas assigned military members. The mission of the USO is to provide service and comfort to all military members until, "all are home."
