Theta Pi - Jetmore
Theta Phi has celebrated 35 years in ESA. In the 35 years that we have been organized we have gained and lost many Theta Pi members and we have enjoyed them all and miss the ones who left. They are still our friends. There are five charter member remaining in the chapter; Paulette Knobbe, Audine Charles, Jenny Schraeder, Jenny Lu Hey, and Kay Leet. We have done many different fund raisers and served our community well. Some of them include: a talent show, fashion show, served the all school reunion banquet, Basketball games, Bikes Across Kansas, and many more events.
We serve our community by offering a scholarship every year for returning students to school in honor of a deceased member, St Jude, giving to community members who have serious illness and need help, and many more service projects. We are asked to do many things because the community knows they can count on Theta Pi. |
ESA Theta Pi to celebrate 40th Anniversary
On September 8, 1975, the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Theta Pi 4543 Chapter was chartered and installation of officers was held. Please join the members of Theta Pi at the Jetmore United Church as we celebrate our 40th anniversary. We will also honor charter members Audine Charles, Jenny Lu Hey, Paulette Knobbe, and Jenny Schraeder as they celebrate their 40th year of membership. Theta Pi is a philanthropic group which makes money to help area, state and international philanthropies. We help Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny to visit with the children of Hodgeman County. Some of our other local philanthropies include the food bank, helping with donations for those in need as needed, the Big Bang fireworks fund, Christmas Love tree, and the Marianne Ravenstein Scholarship Fund. We also support both St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Heart Spring School. We have also donated and bought school supplies for children in our local school district. We also make donations to Goodwill and Easter Seals. If there is a need for a donation to help someone or a project in our local county, we love to donate and help out. |
