Gamma Omicron began their year by honoring our hometown heroes who do so much to serve and protect us!
“Virginia Bigbee who is our chaplain this year (2011-2012) had the awesome idea of bringing baked goods to our meeting last night. After the meeting some of us helped make up plates for the fire fighters, policemen/women and EMS personnel in the Manhattan community. The rest of the chapter wrote thank-you notes to go with each plate of cookies. Twelve plates of cookies were delivered on Thursday morning by various chapter members to each entity and they were all very delighted to get them.
This is a picture of all of our chapter members (minus me - I was behind the camera) and one new pledge (Roxy Tomlinson-she's the blonde).”

Years of service with the current members ranges from almost sixty years to three pledges. Diversity as this bonds the members, allows new ideas for everything and that keeps the members dedicated and willing to serve.
